Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information BestWebHosting.website (“we”, “us”) collects when you read the site, how it is used, and the choices you have. The site does not require an account, and we do not sell your personal data.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply, handle corrections or discuss the request you made.
- Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs: IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the time of the visit. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting and preventing abuse, and are kept for a limited period.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Small files stored by your browser, described below.
Cookies
We use cookies and local storage for three purposes:
- Essential and preferences: your light or dark theme choice is stored in your browser only and is never sent to us.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which articles are read and how visitors find the site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. We do not use it to identify you personally. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Advertising: we use Google AdSense to show ads, as described in the next section.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how ads and parts of the site work.
Advertising and Google AdSense
This site is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our visitors based on their visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info or, in Europe, www.youronlinechoices.eu.
- If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you.
To learn more, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and How Google uses cookies in advertising.
Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before personalised advertising and analytics cookies are used, through a consent message shown on your first visit. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time. Our legal bases for processing are your consent (advertising and analytics cookies) and our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (server logs and essential storage).
You have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
California residents
We do not sell personal information for money. Sharing of cookie data with advertising partners for personalised ads may count as “sharing” under California law; you can opt out using the Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info links above, or by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser.
Third-party links and services
Our articles link to the original reporting they are based on and to other external websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. Embedded content and ad networks have their own privacy policies.
Children
This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Data security and retention
The site is served over HTTPS. We keep emails only as long as needed to handle your request, and server logs for a limited period set by our hosting provider.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised.
